Founded in 2015, Terrell Entertainment, LLC has become a premier entertainment company in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. With hit stage plays such as I'm In Love With Your Man, One Mama, I’m Still Your Mama and Why Good Girls Become Bad Boys, Bound and Gagged, Terrell Entertainment has proven to provide guests with a personal connection to our clients’ brands and products – creating a memorable experience.

Mrs. Tawanna Terrell, CEO & President of Operations at CIF

​Tawanna Terrell has dedicated her career to public service.  Ms. Terrell – who has worked for the government for nearly 35 years – realized her passion for producing plays in 2014, while working on the hit play, Bound and Gagged.  In 2015, she founded Terrell Entertainment, LLC  with hopes of giving back to the community through the arts.  Since forming Terrell Entertainment,  In 2015 - 2016, she produced plays such as Why Good Girls Become Bad Boys, I'm Still Your Mama, I'm In Love With Your Man and One Mama". Ms. Terrell has continued building upon her career of service by forming a foundation focused on giving grants to local schools, churches, and non-profits.
Ms.  Terrell is a native Washingtonian, and her family has been a long-standing pillar within the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area community.  Her father, the late Jacob B. Terrell, Jr, was the former Assistant Vice President of Circulation of the Washington Post.  Mr. Terrell was the founder of Terrell Enterprises, Inc., which works with local news publication companies to distribute newspapers in the Washington, DC area.  In 2001, Tawanna joined her father at Terrell Enterprises, Inc., and was responsible for growing the company from 21 to 52 employees.  A true entrepreneur, Ms. Terrell also provides housing for veterans with her real estate investment business, and operates a thriving tax preparation service.

Ms. Terrell furthered her philanthropic work by forming "Improving Life One Breath At A Time", a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing stability and resources for individuals and families.  She also joined Laterras R. Whitfield, Creator and CEO, HomeBless Life in 2017 as Executive Producer.  The ultimate purpose of "HomeBless Life" is to give hope to women and families that are homeless and living in homeless shelters.  This series of 5 episodes including one episode that went viral on social media with over 20.7 million view.  www.homeblesslife.com
In her spare time, Ms. Terrell volunteers with several organizations including the Willing Workers of Oxon Hill, MD, the Pi Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc., and the St. Paul AME Church, Men’s club. She and her husband are also faithful and members of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden.
